Law No. 25.760 establishing the State Tourism-Friendly Seal.

This Law establishes the Tourism-Friendly Seal in the State of Minas Gerais. Its main objective is to recognize and reward natural or legal persons that contribute to the development, promotion, and strengthening of tourism within the State. The certification is intended to encourage investment and participation in tourism-related initiatives by granting official recognition to entities that support tourism promotion and development projects. The law identifies a broad range of eligible tourism-related activities, including restaurants, hotels, travel agencies, event organizers, tourist guides, event venues, rural tourism enterprises, theme parks, tourist transport services, camping facilities, and artisans’ associations that promote local culture and creative industries. To support tourism growth and enhance the visibility of recognized entities, the law authorizes recipients of the seal to use the distinction in printed and digital promotional materials. It further provides that the criteria for granting the certification will be based on quality standards and technical requirements established through future regulations. The seal is valid for twelve months and may be renewed for successive periods provided that the qualifying activities continue to be maintained.
