Law No. 4.579 creating the Regenerative Agriculture Programme for Acre (PARA).

This Law creates the Regenerative Agriculture Programme for Acre (PARA), aimed at agricultural producers in general, with the objective of promoting agricultural practices that increase productivity and regenerate degraded soils. The objectives of PARA are: to promote sustainable production and crop diversification; and to promote syntropic agriculture and agroforestry. The State of Acre will promote tax incentives with the relevant agencies and partners and will strengthen markets that promote direct sales to consumers and establish short distribution chains.
