Abstract
This Law regulates the use of groundwater within the Federal District. It establishes that any hydraulic pump installation, whose purpose is the use of groundwater within the geographical area of ​​the Federal District must have the prior authorization of the Government of the Federal District. Until this Law is regulated by the Government of the Federal District, the use of groundwater shall be governed by the Mining Code, the Water Code and, where applicable, by the Sanitary Code of the Federal District. The owners of the installations shall have a term of 180 days to obtain the license referred to in this Law. The installations that do not obtain the due license within the period referred must be deactivated by the competent organ of the Federal District.
