Law No. 6.315 establishing guidelines for the advancement and empowerment of women in rural areas.

This Law establishes state‑level guidelines to promote the valuation and empowerment of rural women in Mato Grosso do Sul, with the main objective of fostering their qualified inclusion in agricultural activities and recognizing their productive, professional, and social capacities. It seeks to strengthen women’s participation in rural development by promoting access to education, professional training, entrepreneurship, justice, and public security; supporting sustainable agricultural practices and food production; reducing gender inequalities; preventing violence in rural areas; and improving income generation, quality of life, and food and nutritional security through the economic and social strengthening of women‑led rural activities.
