Abstract
This Law establishes the guidelines for the rights of women workers in the primary sector in the State of Amazonas. These guidelines aim to: boost the qualified inclusion of female workers in the primary sector, promoting training in rural employment; prioritize access to agricultural resources, subsidies and public policies in the State for women in the primary sector, heads of rural establishments; provide sustainable socio-economic development of rural establishments headed by women; promote preventive actions and combat gender-based and property violence; guarantee women psychosocial assistance; prioritize rural establishments registered in the name of the female head of household in State land programmes; provide improvements in the quality of education for the children of women working in the primary sector; and provide improvements in practices to maximize agricultural production.
