Law No. 6.754 establishing the Environmental Partner Company Seal.

This Law establishes the Environmental Partner Company Seal. It aims to distinguish legal entities that develop or participate in actions contributing to the protection of the environment, such as: I – creation and maintenance of protected areas; II – recovery of degraded areas; III – reforestation; IV – payment for environmental services; V – biodiversity conservation; VI – conservation of water resources; VII – reuse, recycling, treatment and adequate disposal of solid waste; VIII – use of renewable energy sources in its establishments and production processes; IX – rationalization and achievement of water and energy consumption reduction targets; X – environmental education; XI – reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; XII – others, defined in regulation. Authorization to use the Environmental Partner Company Seal will be granted by the Public Authority or an institution accredited by it, upon request from the interested company, in accordance with criteria and procedures established by regulation.
