Abstract
This Law establishes guidelines for promoting access to continuing education, professional qualification and educational retention for single mothers within the State of Amazonas. In particular, the objectives of this Law are: guarantee the right to continuing education and professional qualification as instruments of social and economic emancipation for single mothers; encourage the creation of educational environments that are more inclusive, equitable, and sensitive to the reality of single mothers; foster coordination between public, private and community institutions for the development of joint actions aimed at the training and employability of these women; and contribute to the reduction of gender inequalities in access to and retention in technical, higher education and continuing education courses.
