Law No. 8.105 providing for administrative sanctions arising from conduct harmful to the environment in the State of Amazonas.

This Law provides for administrative sanctions resulting from conduct harmful to the environment in the State of Amazonas. Administrative environmental sanctions issued by the Amazonas Military Police may be forwarded to the Amazonas Environmental Protection Institute (IPAAM) for processing and judgement, through an agreement or technical cooperation agreement between the agencies. The model for environmental infraction notices may be standardised between the Amazonas Military Police (PMAM) and the Amazonas Environmental Protection Institute (IPAAM) in order to ensure the uniformity and effectiveness of enforcement actions.
