Law No. 8.109 establishing the State Registry of Trespassers on Private Rural and Urban Properties.

This Law establishes the State Registry of Trespassers of Rural and Urban Private Properties in the State of Amazonas with the objective of strengthening public security, legal certainty, and institutional control over crimes involving the unlawful invasion of private property. The law aims to systematize and centralize information on individuals who have received a final criminal conviction for property invasion offenses, ensuring that relevant data are maintained under the responsibility of the State Public Security Secretariat with restricted and identifiable access. It also seeks to regulate the conditions under which such information may be accessed by public authorities and, in specific cases, by interested citizens upon proper justification, while ensuring compliance with data protection standards and safeguarding the lawful use of personal information in accordance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
