Abstract
This Law creates the Statute for the State Microenterprises and Small-scale Business. This Statute regulates the differentiated, simplified and favoured legal treatment guaranteed to micro and small business, in accordance with the Federal Constitution, and arts. 232-233 of the State Constitution and Federal Complementary Law No. 123 of 14 December 2006 as amended, creating the State Statute for Microenterprises and Small Business. Differentiated, simplified and favoured treatment will be granted to: micro-enterprises and small business, direct State public administration bodies, special funds, autarchies, and other entities controlled by the State administration, with regard to: technological innovation and entrepreneurial education; associations and inclusion; income generating activities; formalization of enterprises; access to credit; creation of a database for guidelines and instruments available to users; simplification, rationalization and standardization of health safety, metrology, environmental control and fire prevention requirements, including the definition of activities considered high risk; the preference for contracting with micro and small companies, aiming to promote local and regional economic development, etc.
