Law No. 8.471 establishing the State Policy for Investments and Businesses with Socio-Environmental Impact in the State of Alagoas.

This Law establishes the State Policy for Investments and Businesses with Socio-Environmental Impact within the State of Alagoas. The Policy has the following objectives: coordinate bodies and entities of the State Public Administration, the private sector and civil society, in promoting a favorable and simplified environment for the development of investments and businesses with socio-environmental impact, in accordance with art. 2 of the State Constitution of Alagoas, etc.; encourage development and credit instruments for businesses with socio-environmental impact; stimulate an increase in the number of businesses with socio-environmental impact; promote an institutional and regulatory environment favorable to investments and businesses with socio-environmental impact, through the proposal of normative acts relating to the subject, which should provide legal security for the operation and dissemination of investments with socio-environmental impact; and encourage the strengthening of the dissemination of studies and research that provide more visibility to investments and businesses with socio-environmental impact.
