Abstract
This Law establishes the Supplementary School Feeding Programme in public schools within the State of Alagoas. The Programme aims to meet the nutritional needs of students in the school, with a view to improving learning conditions and combating school drop-outs, and may offer supplementary food, before the start and after the end of daily school activities, in addition to the school meals regularly offered in between classes, already guaranteed by the Food and Nutritional Security Policy provided for by the National School Feeding Programme (PNAE), established by Law No. 11.947 of 16 June 2009.
