Abstract
This Law provides for sanitary and industrial inspection of products and by-products of animal origin within the State of Rondônia. The Agrosilvopastoral Health Defence Agency of the State of Rondônia (IDARON), is responsible for the inspection and supervision of products of animal origin produced and destined for trade within the State of Rondônia, in accordance with the provisions of federal legislation. In inspection and supervision, the competences of the Federal Government, when industrial production is destined for interstate or international trade, and of the State of Rondônia, shall be reserved. IDARON is also responsible for enforcing the rules laid down in this Law and imposing the penalties provided for therein. The inspection and supervision provided for in this Law will be subject to the following aspects: I - animals intended for slaughter, related products, by-products and raw materials; II - fish and its derivatives; III - milk and its derivatives; IV - eggs and their derivatives; V - bee honey, wax and their derivatives.
