Abstract
This Law, consisting of 49 articles divided into twelve Chapters, creates the Agroindustrial, Industrial and Sanitary Inspection Service of Animal Products in the State of Sergipe (SIE/SE). SIE/SE is responsible for the agro-industrial, industrial sanitary inspection of products and by-products of animal origin within the State of Sergipe. The SIE/SE must be executed in the State of Sergipe by the Agricultural Development Company of Sergipe (EMDAGRO), responsible for these sanitary inspections of animal origin products, adopting the provisions of Federal legislation, in particular the Regulation of Industrial and Sanitary Inspection of Products of Animal Origin (R.I.I.S.P.O.A.), established by the Federal Decree No. 9.013 of March 29, 2017. It is incumbent upon EMDAGRO, through the SIE/SE, to register, inspect, regulate, and inspect sanitary processes and procedures to be carried out by establishments of products and by-products of animal origin.
