Abstract
This Law establishes the State Policy for the Immigrant Population, sets out its objectives, principles, guidelines and priority actions, and creating the State Council for Immigrants, Refugees and Stateless Persons of the State of Alagoas. The Policy has the following objectives: guarantee immigrants access to social rights and public services; promote respect for diversity and interculturality; prevent violations of rights; and foster social participation and develop coordinated actions with civil society.
