Abstract
This Law establishes the Programme to Support Family and Indigenous Agricultural Production in the State of Roraima. The Programme has the following objectives: strengthen family and indigenous farming, promoting its economic and social inclusion, by fostering sustainable production; promote access to food, in regular quantity and quality, for family and indigenous farmers; support agricultural production, with the aim of keeping producers in the countryside; encourage the consumption of food produced by family and indigenous farming, improving living conditions and income generating activities in rural area; strengthening family and indigenous farming and improving networks for marketing products from family and indigenous farming and the agro-industry. Beneficiaries of the Programme will be family and indigenous farmers (see Federal Law No. 11.326 of 24 July 2006) and who are duly registered with the State Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (SEAPA) as a rural producer.
