Norm SEMA No, 11 establishing the obligation of the Prior Authorization to the Technical Analysis Plan for Sustainable Forest Management - APAT.

This Norm, consisting of 5 Chapters and 5 Annexes, establishes administrative and legal proceedings related to the obligation of the Prior Authorization Technical Analysis Plan for Sustainable Forest Management - APAT, as a prerequisite to the practice of sustainable forest management for multiple use. APAT will be required to review and approve PMFS on public lands by dealer, issued by Forest Concession Agreement. The APAT does not allow the starting of management activities, does not authorize the harvesting and neither constitutes proof of ownership or property for the purpose of regularization of authorization of deforestation or obtaining financing from credit institutions or public private. The Annexes list down all the required model forms to be filled up in order to perform the above mentioned activity.
