This Norm, consisting of 4 Chapters and 1 Annex, provides for procedures and criteria for environmental licensing on the mining extraction (sand, gravel etc.) for immediate use in civil construction, as defined by Federal Law No. 6.567 of 24 September 1978, and Order No. 266 of 10 July 2008. This Norm can be used as a parameter to municipalities qualified to perform environmental management and mining licensing, according to the potential pollution and other criteria set out in Resolution No. 116 of 3 July 2014 of the State Council for Environment of Pará - COEMA/PA
