Abstract
This Order prohibits fixed gillnet and drift net fishing into the waters of the lake 'Lago-Açu' in the State of Maranhão. It consists of 5 articles establishing that fishing net use is permitted only with minimum net mesh of 60 mm. It prescribes sanctions to be paid by offenders in compliance with Decree-Law No. 221 of 28 February 1967.
