Abstract
This Order regulates amazon turtles 'Podocnemis expansa' and 'Podocnemis unifilis' breeding with commercial purposes. It consists of 17 articles establishing the requirements to be met for obtaining a licence, granted by Ibama, for the breeding, reproduction and placing on the market of amazon turtles 'Podocnemis expansa' and 'Podocnemis unifilis'. It lists as well the requirements to be satisfied by breeding centres in order to perform the aforementioned activity.
