Abstract
This Resolution provides for the guidelines aimed for the use of resources and the monitoring of payment agreements for REDD+ results. These guidelines have the purpose to: contribute to climate change mitigation through the elimination of illegal deforestation, the conservation and recovery of forest ecosystems and the development of a sustainable low-carbon forest economy, generating economic, social and environmental benefits; support the implementation of nationally determined contributions to the Paris Agreement under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change; support the institutional strengthening of federal entities for the implementation of REDD+ related actions; implement and demonstrate compliance with the Cancun Safeguard Information System, in accordance with CONAREDD+ guidelines; comply with legislation and support federal and state policies for forests, indigenous peoples, traditional peoples and communities and family farmers, in accordance with CONAREDD+ guidelines; prioritise initiatives that benefit indigenous peoples, traditional peoples and communities and family farmers in the application of resources and facilitate their access; recognise the contribution to the results achieved and support actions that generate new REDD+ results, etc.
