Resolution SEDEST No. 052 establishing conditions and criteria and other measures for the environmental licensing of Swine Farms in the State of Paraná.

This Resolution, consisting of 24 articles and four Annexes, establishes conditions and criteria and other measures for the environmental licensing of Intensive Swine Farming Enterprises in the State of Paraná. Swine Farms classified as small, medium, large and exceptional, must apply for Prior, Installation and Operation Licences. It specifies licensing requirements to be met in order to obtain an environmental authorization to carry out swine production. This procedure applies to new enterprises and to those in operation that are going to enlarge their size, definitive alterations in the process and incorporation of new activities, with alteration of the characteristics of the infrastructure. The requirements for licensing provided for in must be made through the SGA.
