Abstract
This Resolution, consisting of 24 articles and two Annexes, establishes conditions and criteria and other measures for the environmental licensing of Poultry Enterprises in the State of Paraná. This Resolution applies to commercial poultry activities, such as: farms, commercial laying, rearing of breeding stock, laying of fertile eggs and broiler poultry. Poultry/hatchery ventures that are classified as industrial activities are excluded. Poultry enterprises will be classified according to the type, breeding system and size: 1. Type of enterprise: a) commercial posture; b) breeding of matrices; c) laying of fertile eggs; and d) broiler poultry; 2. Breeding system: confinement; 3. Size of the enterprise: the size of poultry farms for environmental licensing purposes is defined by the area built for the confinement of birds, according to specific parameters.
