Resolution SEMAC No. 20 regulating Law No. 11.959 on the registration of professional fishers and the issuance of Environmental Permits for Commercial Fishing in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul.

This Resolution, consisting of 9 articles, regulates specific provisions of Law No. 11.959 regarding the registration of professional fishers and the issuance of Environmental Permits for Commercial Fishing in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. It establishes that professional fishermen who practice fishing activities within the State must be previously registered in the Register of Professional Fishers, by the Environmental Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IMASUL) to obtain the competent Environmental Authorization for Commercial Fishing. Completion of Registration will be held at the IMASUL or its regional units and, where there is no Regional Unit, can be performed in Fishers' Colonies or the Fishers' Associations, who in such cases, should send to IMASUL for approval.
