Abstract
This Act provides rules for co-operative credit unions registered under this Act or deemed to be registered under this Act. Co-operative credit unions registered under this Act shall comply with the co-operative principles specified in this Act. The Central Bank shall be responsible for the administration of this Act. It shall maintain a register of co-operative credit unions. Small credit unions shall be exempt from certain requirements.
