Abstract
This Act makes provision for the registration of commoners, i.e. persons that hold a right in non-partitioned land together with at least other twenty people and other aspects of organization of commoners and protection of their rights.
A register of commoners shall be formed and kept in each town or settlement in which any land is held in common. Commoners shall meet in accordance with this Act and may make rules for specified purposes regarding the use of the common land, the supply of fresh water and the protection of produce. Rules shall be approved by the Minister and published in the Gazette.
