Abstract
This Act makes provision for the registration of veterinary surgeons and for the control of veterinary practice and for these purposes establishes the Veterinary Board. The Board shall advise and make recommendations to the Minister on matters of registration and disciplinary matters. The Act defines qualifications and prescribes the procedure for registration as a veterinary surgeon. The practice of veterinary surgery and medicine shall not include the doing of anything specified in Part I of the Schedule to this Act and not excluded by Part II of that Schedule.
