Domestic Biogas Implementation Guideline, 2020.

This document provides for management strategy and guidelines in respect of implementation of the biogas programme in Bhutan. The relevant stakeholders are identified and their roles and responsibilities are laid down. The stakeholders include the Bhutan Biogas Project, Department of Renewable Energy, Department of Livestock, masons and biogas users. The five stage application process and the implementation mechanism are described. The technical standards and specification for construction of biogas plant, and guidelines for quality control and plant operation and maintenance are provided.
