Guidelines for Registration of Cottage Scale Industries 2021.

The objective of the Guidelines is to adopt a Registration Certificate System to promote and facilitate growth and development of cottage scale industries.
The Cottage Scale Industries are defined as those industries with an investment less than Nu.1 million and engaging up to 4 people. Registration Certificate as mentioned in the Guidelines shall mean a permission granted by the Ministry or its Authorized Representative to a person who intends to engage in industrial activities under the cottage scale. The Guidelines indicates the eligibility, rights and obligations of a registration certificate holder, registration procedures, etc.
