Abstract
This Land Compensation Rates 2017 is issued by the Ministry of Finance. It consists of 9 Sections: 1. Rural Land Compensation Rates 2017; 2. Factors Determining Rural Land Compensation; 3. Urban Land Compensation Rates 2017; 4. Factors determining Urban Land Compensation; 5. Guideline on Compensation Rate for Buildings 6. Implementation Procedure; 7. Agricultural Compensation Rates 2017; 8. Format for Rural Land Valuation; 9. Format for Urban Land Valuation.
The following factors shall be taken into account when calculating the rural land compensation rate for all classes of Land: 1. Distance from the High way / Feeder Road; 2. Water availability on land; 3. Topography of land; 4. Soil In-stability 5. Scenic, cultural and historical value (Sec.2). Section 7 Agricultural Compensation Rates 2017 provides for: a. Compensation Rates for Fruit Trees; b. Compensation Rate for Developed Pasture; c. Compensation Rate for Fodder Trees; d. Land Development Cost of Chhuzhing; e. Formula for working out Compensation of Forest Trees.
