Abstract
This Act is enacted to amend the Penal Code of Bhutan, 2004.
In the Penal Code of Bhutan, 2004, Section 14 is amended as: “A defendant convicted of a violation shall be fined the minimum wage for a maximum of ninety days”. In the Code, Section 114 is amended as: “If the defendant is a child of 12 years and below, he/she shall not be held liable for any offence committed by him/her”.
