Abstract
These Bye-laws provide rules for the slaughtering of animals in abattoirs in the Central District. They also concern the inspection of meat and the condemnation of suspected meat.
The rules concern hygiene of slaughtering, the construction of abattoirs and the handling of animals and meat and the control on animal health and hygiene of meat. Ante and post mortem inspection shall be carried out by meat inspectors appointed by the District Council.
