Abstract
These Bye-laws concern the control, maintenance and development of public sewers by the Council of the Central District. It also defines the right to connect to a public sewer and regulates the use of public sewers.
The Council may alter the size or course of any public sewer or discontinue and prohibit the use thereof and may enter into an agreement for the construction of sewers or sewerage disposal works. The Council may, subject to the written approval of the Minister and to any condition the Minister may think fit to impose, grant permission for the discharge into a public sewer of trade effluent from any premises. A trade effluent agreement is set out in the Third Schedule to these Bye-laws.
