Abstract
These Regulations establish maximum levels of melamine in food for all foods and in particular infant formula. Melamine means an organic base chemical mos commonly found in the form of white crystals rich in nitrogen and widely used in plastics, adhesives, countertops, dishware, whiteboards or fertilizers. The Regulations also provide information on offences and penalties.
