Abstract
This Act introduces measures to prevent the spreading of a disease affecting bees. It prohibits the importation of bees without a written permission of the President and the importation of specified material relating to bees altogether. The Act sets out powers of authorized officers in relation with inspection of consignments, apiaries or places where honey or beeswax is sold and defines regulation-making powers of the President.
