Abstract
These Bye-Laws of the Kgalagadi District Council empower the Council to take measures to control the keeping of livestock in the District.
They allow the Council to prohibit the use of stables which in the opinion of the Council ought not to be used for the keeping of livestock by reason of its location, construction, condition or manner of use and to establish as a holding ground for any domestic animal, livestock or poultry found at large. The Bye-laws define offences of nuisance in relation with the keeping or letting loose of (harmful) animals, including bees and poultry.
