These Bye-laws provide for the licensing and control of hawking and street vending in the district of Kgalagadi. Licenses for hawkers or certificates for street vendors shall be granted by the District Council or any committee authorized by the Council. Licences or certificates shall not be transferable. The Bye-laws define duties regarding hygiene of hawkers or vendors.
