Abstract
These Byelaws concern the supervision and use of public standpipes within designated areas of Lobatse town, i.e. an area within the township which has been allocated to persons for occupation in respect of which a certificate of rights or a temporary occupancy permit has been issued. The Bye-laws place restriction on use of public standpipe water, provide for the inspection of public standpipes and prohibit: the use of water other than by residents; the damaging of public standpipes; and the misuse and pollution of water.
