Abstract
These Byelaws concern the supervision and use of public standpipes within designated areas of Selebi-Phikwe town, i.e. an area within the township which has been allocated to persons for occupation in respect of which a certificate of rights or a temporary occupancy permit has been issued. The Bye-laws place restriction on use of public standpipe water, provide for the inspection of public standpipes and prohibit: the use of water other than by residents; the damaging of public standpipes; and the misuse and pollution of water.
