Abstract
These Bye-laws concern the construction, maintenance and use of and connection to public sewers in the South East District. The Bye-laws allow the Council to enter into an agreement with any person constructing or proposing to construct a sewer or sewerage disposal works for the acquisition of those works upon completion. No storm or rain water or other specified foreign matter shall be discharged into a public sewer. In particular the Bye-laws regulate the discharge of industry effluent into public sewers and provide for the control of the discharge of such effluent.
