Abstract
These general Bye-laws of the Sowa Township Authority regulate matters of miscellaneous character in the Sowa Township including health and sanitation, the keeping of livestock and troublesome and dangerous animals, fire control and the production, handling and placing on the market of food.
The Regulations place duties on owners and occupiers of any lot or premises in relation with the prevention of the spreading of pests and diseases, in particular in relation with the disposal of refuse and the storage of water, and prescribe rules for the keeping of livestock, poultry, bees or harmful animals. They furthermore, among other things, prohibit the cutting of trees without authorization and prescribe rules relative to the construction and operation of food premises, in particular bakeries, butcheries and fishmongers’ shops.
