Abstract
This Act makes provision for the licensing of trade practices and for this purpose establishes licensing committees for each city, town or district council, a Regional Appeals Board in each region.
No person shall carry on any trade or business for which a licence is required under this Act, unless the person holds a licence authorizing him or her to carry on such trade or business. A licensing committee shall be responsible for the issuance, in accordance with the provisions of this Act, of licences. A person aggrieved by a decision of a licensing committee may appeal to a Regional Appeal Board.
