Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on interregional and cross-border cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine.

The Parties shall promote the development of trade, economic, technical, social, environmental, cultural, ethno-cultural, humanitarian cooperation between regions, including border regions, as well as the development of infrastructure in border regions, cooperation in the field of education, healthcare, information technology, energy, agro-industrial complex and in other spheres. The Parties shall facilitate the implementation of joint programs and projects implemented for socio-economic development border regions, as well as programs and projects aimed at ethno-cultural development of the population of regions. The Parties, with a view of developing interregional and cross-border cooperation shall create favorable conditions for the establishment of direct contacts between business entities. The Parties shall cooperate in the sphere of environmental protection and sustainable management of natural resources, and also for the prevention of natural and technological disasters and mitigation of the consequences thereof.
