Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in science and technology.

The Parties will develop scientific and technical cooperation in the field of advanced technologies, including information and communication technologies, fundamental and applied research. Scientific and technical cooperation between the Parties shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) exchange of scientific and technical information; (b) implementation of joint scientific and technical projects; (c) exchange of scientists, researchers and specialists for research and development projects of mutual interest; (d) participation in scientific events, conferences, symposia and seminars; (e) organization and holding of joint events in the scientific and technical sphere; and (f) in other forms as per preliminary agreement between the Parties. The Parties shall cooperate in the following areas: (a) environmental protection; (b) energy; (b) agro-industrial complex; (c) biotechnology; and (d) exploration of subsoil and mining.
