Abstract
Cooperation under this Agreement envisages: (a) monitoring of hazardous man-caused and ecological processes, as well as natural phenomena; (b) forecasting of emergency situations and evaluation of their consequences; (c) organization of preparation of the population for actions in emergency situations, including of first medical aid assistance; (d) organization of interaction of state structures concerned related to liquidation of emergency situations; (e) assessment of the risk to the environment and the population due to possible pollution from industrial accidents, catastrophes and natural disasters; (f) exchange of information on prevention and outbreak of disasters and mitigation of the consequences thereof; (g) joint seminars, symposia, workshops; (h) scientific research; and (i) training of staff.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force on the date of receipt through the diplomatic channels of the last of two written notifications confirming the fulfillment by the Parties of the domestic procedures required for its entry into force.
