Abstract
The Parties shall cooperate with a view of: (a) development of the nuclear safety infrastructure of the Republic of Belarus in connection with the construction on the territory of the Republic of Belarus of the first nuclear power plant under the Russian project; (b) achievement of sustainable and high level nuclear safety; (c) creation and maintenance at nuclear energy facilities in the Republic of Belarus of effective means of protection against potential radiation danger. The Parties shall cooperate in the following forms: (a) joint actions to strengthen the international regime of nuclear safety; (b) exchange of scientific, technical, regulatory and other information; (c) assistance in the training of technical and scientific personnel; (d) organization of workshops, scientific seminars and symposia on aspects of nuclear safety; and (e) exchange of personnel between authorized organizations, including training for nuclear safety.
