Abstract
The Parties recognize on the mutually agreed terms the existing national systems of standardization, ensuring the uniformity of measurements, certification (confirmation of compliance) and accreditation. The Parties shall carry out interaction and cooperation in the following areas: (a) development of legislative, regulatory and methodological documents on standardization, metrology, certification and accreditation; (b) unification of certification systems (confirmation of compliance) and bringing them in line with procedures and rules adopted by international organizations; (c) quality control and verification of compliance with mandatory safety requirements in force in the Parties for mutually supplied products; (d) creation, improvement, comparison and attestation of state standards of units of physical quantities; (e) development, production and use of standard samples of the composition and properties of substances and materials, standard reference data on physical constants and properties of substances and materials; and (f) development of information activities in the field of standardization, metrology, certification and accreditation.
