Abstract
The Parties will develop scientific and technical cooperation in the field of advanced technologies, including information and communication technologies, fundamental and applied research. Scientific and technical cooperation between the Parties shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) exchange of scientific and technical information; (b) implementation of joint scientific and technical projects; (c) exchange of scientists, researchers and specialists for research and development projects of mutual interest; (d) participation in scientific events, conferences, symposia and seminars; (e) organization and holding of joint events in the scientific and technical sphere; and (f) in other forms as per preliminary agreement between the Parties. The Parties shall cooperate in the following areas: (a) energy; (b) agro-industrial complex; (c) nuclear technologies; (d) water resources management; (e) environmental protection; (f) food processing industry; and (g) protection of biodiversity.

This Agreement entered into force on 13 September 2017.
Notes
This Agreement is valid for five years and shall be automatically extended for subsequent five-year periods, unless one of the Parties sends the other Party written notice of its intention to terminate it no later than six months before the end of its expiry.
