Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia on cooperation in the field of science and technology.

The Parties shall develop and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of science and technology, based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit. The Parties will promote the development of long-term cooperation in the field of science and technology directly between scientific and scientific-industrial organizations of both countries on the basis of the concluded agreements between the aforesaid organizations. Scientific and technical cooperation between the Parties shall be carried out in following forms: (a) exchange of scientific and technical information; (b) implementation of joint scientific and technical projects; (c) exchange of scientists, researchers and specialists for conducting research and developments of mutual interest; (d) participation in scientific events (conferences, symposia, seminars, internships) in accordance with the preliminary agreement between the Parties; and (e) exchange of visits of scientific and research staff. The Parties shall carry out cooperation in the following areas: (a) energy; (c) biotechnologies; and (d) agriculture.
