Abstract
The Parties in accordance with their national legislation and within the limits of competence will cooperate in the following areas: (a) exchange of information, periodicals, methodical, scientific-technical literature, the results of scientific research, video and photomaterials, as well as technologies and experience in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations; (b) planning, developing and conducting joint workshops, seminars, conferences, training courses, exercises, research projects, sports and other events; (c) organization of training of specialists in educational institutions of the Parties, exchange of trainees, teachers, scientists, specialists and other representatives; (d) preparation and implementation of joint projects of technical, social and humanitarian cooperation; and (e) cooperation in the field of chemical, nuclear and radiation safety, as well as overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force on the date of signature.
Notes
This Agreement is valid for five years and shall be automatically extended for subsequent five-year periods, unless one of the Parties sends the other Party written notice of its intention to terminate it no later than three months before the date of its expiry.
